AI is already finding its way into M&A. But what does it mean for your work, which applications deserve your attention, and where can it add real value?
Join the M&A Community Belgium for an afternoon of fresh perspectives, practical examples and open discussion. Helen Lu, Associate Professor of Accounting and AI at Vlerick Business School, will explore AI within the broader context of technological change and its impact on business and M&A. Drawing on her research and investment banking experience, she will raise important questions about choosing tools, prioritising investments and working effectively with limited budgets. She won’t claim to have all the answers, her aim is to help us ask better questions.
Three AI solution providers will then bring the discussion into practice with short presentations on applications in M&A processes, such as legal due diligence and virtual data rooms. What can these tools do, how are they used, and what can we learn from them?
We’ll continue in group discussions, sharing experiences, questions and ideas, before closing with drinks and food. Whether you’re already experimenting or wondering where to begin, this is an opportunity to make sense of AI together, and help shape the conversation within our M&A community.
