Visma buys Belgian HR tech company Syntegro

Visma is expanding its position in the Belgian market for workforce management technology.

Visma, a Norwegian provider of business software, has acquired the Belgian HR tech company Syntegro, a company that focuses on workforce management software (time registration and personnel planning).

According to a press release, Visma increases its position in the Belgian market for workforce management technology with this acquisition, while Syntegro underlines its growth ambitions for the Dutch and European markets.

Syntegro was founded in 2007 by four engineers with an entrepreneurial dream. The company serves approximately 700 customers with 20 to 40,000 employees who use the technology every day. These are mainly large companies – 80 percent of customers have at least 250 employees.
