Royal A-ware announces acquisition of The Dairy Food Group

Royal A-ware Food Group wants to take over the Belgian family business The Dairy Food Group.

The intended deal includes daily milk collection by BMC (Belgian Milk Company) and the companies Eurodesserts, Limelco, Incopack and Incorock. The proposed acquisition is in line with the strategy of the Dutch family business to further expand its dairy activities in Belgium and further strengthen its position in this now second home country.

“After completing the takeover process, we can further optimize our milk processing in Belgium and thus work on even more efficient chains. In addition, we can offer our customers an even broader product portfolio”, says Jan Anker, CEO Royal A-ware Food Group.

The Dairy Food Group sees opportunities through the proposed acquisition to realize its growth ambitions more quickly and create new employment. “We are pleased to become part of the Royal A-ware Food Group”, says Nathalie Nijs, CEO of The Dairy Food Group. “With this step, for example, we can accelerate the sustainability of our activities. As a family business, Royal A-ware strives for the same values ​​as we do and is therefore a perfect match.”

The proposed acquisition is subject to customary conditions. The aim is to complete the transaction before the end of 2024.
