PIA takes over Walloon accounting firm THG Bruxelles

The West Flemish accountant PIA makes its first acquisition in French-speaking Belgium.

PIA (Partners in Accountancy) has never made a secret of its ambition to do major takeovers and through consolidation become a major Benelux player in accountancy.

Since 2019, the office has been owned by the Belgian investment company Baltisse from Ghent. Six months ago, PIA received a financial injection of 35 million euros for further acquisitions.

Due to the many acquisitions, PIA is one of the fastest growing accountancy and consultancy groups in the Benelux. The organization has more than sixty offices and almost 1,500 employees, and will achieve a turnover of approximately 160 million euros in Belgium and the Netherlands in 2023.

THG Bruxelles is not a Brussels office, but is located in Lasne. The office was founded in 1987 and, thanks to acquisitions, grew into an important accountancy and consultancy firm in Walloon Brabant with more than 800 clients and 31 employees. The customers are mainly larger SMEs and liberal professions.
