Distriport is a 22 hectare industrial estate with its own stretch of track.

The Belgian-Luxembourg shipping and logistics group CLdN is acquiring all shares in Broekman Distriport Real Estate and its subsidiary Broekman Distriport from Broekman Logistics. CLdN is the company of the Belgian Cigrang family.

Distriport occupies a site of 22 hectares at the Oostenhaven, opposite the existing CLdN terminal in Rotterdam. The infrastructure at Distriport includes 630 meters of quay, container transshipment and storage facilities, 50,000 square meters of covered warehouses, transshipment options for general cargo, high and heavy loads and a track head with 1.4 kilometers of track. What was paid for this site has not been disclosed.

For Broekman Logistics, this transaction represents the next step in realizing the strategy as presented at the end of 2023. Broekman Logistics focuses on being an end-to-end supply chain specialist within the three market segments Machinery, Industrial and Chemicals. This is in contrast to the multifunctional Distriport terminal, where, in addition to RoRo trailers, steel and containers are also handled.
